Winter Studio Journal, Jan. 22: Slow Process

Day one of adding the embroidery to this piece.

I’m logging studio days here this month, experimenting with sharing more here and less on social media.

Yesterday was the first day I worked on the embroidery for this piece. Parts of my process, like this one, are very slow. Once I’ve sorted out the stitch pattern, which usually takes some time, this part of the process can be rather zen and relaxing.
