Studio Notes: Winter Exhibitions

Collar (throat/root) is one of the two pieces curator Annemarie Sawkins selected for A Creative Place.

Two of my mixed media pieces completed in early 2023 are part of the exhibition A Creative Place, which opens at the Trout Museum of Art this Friday. This exhibition showcases art from 1940 to present, the work of many artists I admire, and I’m really looking forward to viewing it.

I also have work at the Patrician Gallery, a new gallery in Wilmette, Il. Their current exhibition is titled Winter Blues. Timely as we have experienced polar vortex level temps these past few days!

This is a detail image from Collar (throat/root), one of the two pieces of mine on exhibition at the Trout Museum.
