Curated Selections: Dreamy and Modern

Here is round two of a thematically curated selection of works of art available in the gallery and on my website. The paintings in this group will add a peaceful, modern note to any space. The palette is soft and a little bit dreamy while the marks are textured and dynamic.

Blue Triangle holds many layers of paint, medium, and material, all done on a deep cradled panel. It has a balance of soft pastels and neutral tones as well as soft brushwork and active drawn marks. 

Grounding makes both lists. The pink and lavender add a layer of tranquility to the rich, warm tones. 

 I wish you could see this piece in person because it has many thin layers that create a luminosity that is hard to see in the photo. A spring garden, including these gorgeous lilacs was inspiration for the piece.
