Alchemy is a small series of mixed media works I created when many things in life were in transition. Alchemy represents transformation, and is used here in both the literal and metaphorical sense. These pieces were experimental and I played with materials to see what magic they might create if I poured on pools of color, mixed in drops, brushwork, and drips, and let it all dry naturally. The artworks in this intimate collection represent the beauty, joy, and mystery we can’t always see when things start to change.
