July garden in a Northern climate

Here in Wisconsin summer comes late and our July flowers are likely spring flowers for some of you. The garden is my husband’s work and it looks beautiful right now. These photos were taken in early July, when we were eating cherries right off the tree. Bees, of course, as well as abundance, colors, and shapes of a garden, all inform my art.

I probably won’t be able to resist sharing more garden views later this month and into fall!
