Finding Inspiration in Older Work

Inspiration can be found in many places; for me, it’s gleaned from travel, museum visits, and nature. The pattern in the photo above was inspired by one of my previous designs, with the overall shape being used as a starting point and new details adding to make this one unique.

It’s often been the case for me that looking at my older work can be a great place to find inspiration when I’m struggling to come up with new idea and I love revisiting recurring themes explored from a new perspective.
