Time for a change…

A new website…

…a blank canvas ready for the new year!

It was time for a new website.

After using Wordpress for the past four years or so, I was ready for a change. There are many things I love about Wordpress, primarily that it’s open source, but my needs were expanding beyond my WP comfort level and I want to easily manage my own site and have the ability to make instant changes at my fingertips.

I’ve switched back to Squarespace, primarily for it’s beautiful design, simplicity, and ease of use. At some point soon, I hope to add a shop to this site and wanted functionality that would make that seamless.

I kept the overall website somewhat minimal but plan to update the blog frequently with new content. I love posting process and inspiration on Instagram but would also like to start creating an archive of material outside of social media. The blog will feature studio news, gallery news, painting process, and inspiration.
