beach rocks, thread, and a paintbrush

Rocks can be found in my studio, my office, and my home. I try not to pick up too many but love to have them around me. Years ago when I moved from Montana and then Oregon, I made a ritual or returning rocks to the nearby rivers at which they were collected. Here in Door County, I occasionally pick a few up but most are saved in photos and left by the water. The ones I do keep are used as paperweights, decoration, and palette inspiration.
